Our Company, Peterhouse Investments India Limited was incorporated in the year 1979, under Companies Act 1956 and Listed under Calcutta Stock Exchange. It is a largely growing Non-Banking Financial Institution.
NBFCs play a major role in the economic development of any nation. NBFCs facilitate access to credit to different sector of people.
Our Company, helps in developing small businesses through local presence and strong customer relationships. Usually, the loan officers in NBFCs know the end customer. The managers are able to structure their loans appropriately with a strong informal understanding of the credibility of the borrower.

Mr. Prashant Jhawar:
Mr. Prashant Jhawar, aged about 53 years, is a Commerce Graduate and studied Management Development Courses at Wharton Business School. He is a second generation entrepreneur having vast experience and expertise in management of conglomerates. At present, he is the Director of Usha Martin Limited and on Board of several Usha Martin Group companies. He has vast knowledge of Indian accounting system, financial modelling and forecasting, business analysis etc.
Mr. Apurv Jhawar:
Mr. Apurv Jhawar, aged about 26 years is a third generation member of the Usha Martin Group’s Jhawar family. He is a graduate in Business Management with major in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, United States. After graduation he has joined family business at middle management level in Usha Martin Ltd and other group companies. Apart from this he is also perusing his entrepreneurial ventures, an Impact Investment company which serves as a fund for social entrepreneurs and Usha Martin Fresh Ltd to foray into the food processing sector. He is a member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) and actively participates in group’s NGO, Krishi Gram Vikas Kendra.
Mr. Debjit Bhattacharya:
Shri Debjit Bhattacharya is an Associate Member of Institute of the Cost and Works Accountants of India with more than 19 years of experience. He has vast experience of working in various industry verticals and has been working in IT industry for more than 15 years. Prior to joining the Company, he has served Bonsai Network India Pvt. Ltd., Compaq Computer India Pvt. Ltd., Asiatic Oxygen Ltd and Sunderban Fertilizers Ltd. He has sound knowledge in US GAAP, India GAAP, Banking and other statutory compliances. He is also a Director on the Board of Usha Martin Education Private Limited, a subsidiary concern of the Company.
